The NMSU Police Department is led to a senior management team (the Command Staff) consisting of the Chief and Deputy Chief. The Command Staff have over 50 years of combined law enforcement experience. All hold college degrees and are graduates of the FBI National Academy. They work with other law enforcement agencies in the region, other departments on campus, and various community, state, and national organizations to help ensure the safety of NMSU students, faculty, and staff.
